Born in 1982 in Hoa Binh, Dang Hien graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts, where she received formal art training and began to develop her unique style.

Dang Hien has chosen lacquer as her primary medium, using it to tell her stories. With her skilled hands, she breathes life into vivid colors, seamlessly blending gold and silver to create an artistic world that is both regal and approachable. Her works are a harmonious fusion of traditional and contemporary beauty, with each piece offering a delicate balance between past and present.

Artist Nguyen Thu Thuy, born in 1977, is a prominent figure in the field of art and design. She graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and later completed her Doctorate at the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Arts and Design at the School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Additionally, she is Deputy Chair of the Graphic Arts Association 2 and Secretary of the Art Ceramic Club under the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

“I studied literature and painting in my youth. During my whole youth, I taught and worked in tourism. Getting older, I am ADDICTED TO PAINTINGS AND CERAMICS,” says Artist Nguyen Thu Thuy.

Bronze Medal at the National Applied Arts Exhibition 2005-2009
First Prize for the Logo of the Vietnam Student Association at the National Emulation Congress, along with many other awards in logo design and propaganda paintings.
