Dang Huy Quyen was born in 1948 in Hanoi. He studied drawing at the age of 10 and later attended the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts. The unique style of Dang Huy Quyen is Drawing the back, drawing the idea, drawing the inner tear.

His paintings are not realistic, nor surreal, but bring a certain idea about life, about people. In his painting career, he has more than 700 works as well as participated in many art exhibitions at home and abroad. "Art is a flow, an artist must move in that flow." said Dang Huy Quyen.
