A collection of sixty-five outstanding traditional paintings of Vietnam from the Fine Arts Museum are on display in Paris, to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France.
The paintings are mostly of famous traditional painting genres such as Dong Ho, Hang Trong, Kim Hoang, Sinh, Vu Di and Doc Loi, with the main theme being activities of daily life.
The Fine Arts Museum has collaborated with the Vietnam Center for Culture in France to organize this exhibition, aimed at presenting quintessential traditional folklore treasures of Vietnam as well as highlighting the cultural and spiritual aspects of the Vietnamese people.
The exhibition is being held at 19-19 bis Albert 75013 in Paris until September 16.
