Chicken Family – Artist Ngo Ba Cong

Chicken Family is an artwork containing the burning passion of Artist Ngo Ba Cong – a Doctorate of Art. Currently, he is a lecture teaching art at Hanoi University of Education. Artist Ngo Ba Cong is into lacquer painting which is said to be the unique identity of Vietnamese Art. “The grainy texture covering paintings’ surface is definitely his gracious skill. He wants to make something unique that only Ngo Ba Cong have. Thus, he creates the multi-direction about his lacquer artworks instead of following the original skill”.

Expressing his opinion, he said: “Vietnamese people must love the national culture”. Topics that are always performed in his artworks are about animals and national culture. The painting – Chicken Family is one of them.
