We are proud to introduce the exhibition “Summer Paintings” created by 2 artists: Bui Quang Anh (born in 1940, Hanoi) and Trinh Thanh Tung (born in 1942, HCMC).Number of paintings: 26 (13 paintings/artist)
Material: Oil on canvas.
Bui Quang Anh does not draw what he sees but what he feels. Details in his works are the remaining of visual realism. He wants to express directly his emotions by using hand and finger paint (with neither brushes nor other tools). Hence, his works looks strong, generous and full of emotion.
The paintings of Trinh Thanh Tung whereas are peaceful and romantic with the image of young ladies: “White Summer”, “Woman in white shirt”, “Woman in floral shirt”, “Moonlight”. His paintings also express deep feelings about the past with gentle and graceful penmanship: “Moss”, “Suburb night”, “Nostalgia”.
