The festival hopes to promote new talent, improve artistic projects, preserve countries’ cultural and artistic heritage and provide a platform whereby artists can exchange ideas.
The jury gave out awards in six genres including sculpture, photography, oil on canvas and graphics.
Binh’s was one of the 12 works of art from Viet Nam on display at the festival.
Binh was born in 1959 in the central province of Nghe An and lived in Russian for over ten years. His work has featured many aspects of life in both Viet Nam and Russia as well as their people. Binh held his solo exhibition in Moscow and Latvia three years ago.
The event was organised by International Fund for the World’s Culture and Peace in co-ordination with relevant agents in Moscow and other places in Russia. — VNS
