The paintings, including the oils Diu Dang (The Grace) and Thieu Nu Ao Do (Girl in Red), and the pastel Di Cho Hoa (Going to the Flower Market), are being presented in an exhibition which Thanh has entitled Mua Xuan Dat Viet (Vietnamese Spring).
A sketch by painter and composer Van Cao, composer of Viet Nam’s national anthem, and two paintings by veteran painter Nguyen Tu Nghiem, also are on display.
The exhibition also presents 60 works by Thanh herself, whose paintings are in the collection of the Viet Nam Fine Arts Museum.
