Since its birth in 2006 Singapore Biennale has become one of the biggest art playgrounds for South East Asian contemporary artists and art lovers. Together with the Art Stage Singapore, the Singapore Biennale is one of the two most remarkable events in this country purely dedicated to the love of art (and also the business).
The fourth edition of Singapore Biennale this year will showcase artworks by 82 artists and artist collectives from South East Asia and beyond in which Vietnamese artists taking part include Nguyen Oanh Phi Phi, Nguyen Tran Nam, Lam Hieu Thuan, Le Brothers, Nguyen Huy An, Nguyen Trinh Thi, Uu Dam Tran Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Hoai Tho, Tran Tuan and Vu Hong Ninh.
There are also two curators from Vietnam in the curating team for Singapore Biennale 2013 that are Nguyen Nhu Huy and Tran Luong.
